Tally XML to Excel
Turn a Tally XML export (Day Book, vouchers or masters) into Excel: one row per ledger entry, plus ledger, group and stock item lists.
Frequently asked questions
How do I export XML from Tally?
Open the report (for example Day Book or a ledger’s vouchers), press Alt+E (Export), choose Format: XML (Data Interchange), and save. For masters use Gateway of Tally → Export → Masters. Tally Prime and Tally ERP 9 exports use the same structure.
How are debit and credit shown?
Tally stores debit amounts as negative numbers in XML. The tool turns them into separate Debit and Credit columns, and the Summary sheet checks that total debits equal total credits.
Is Tally XML to Excel free?
Yes. Tally XML to Excel is free to use. You get 3 free conversions a day without an account, and unlimited use when you sign in with Google.
Are my files uploaded?

Does it work on mobile?
Yes. PixKaro works in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on Android, iPhone, Windows and Mac.
